Rent Payment

Your rent pay date is shown on your tenancy agreement.  If you are receiving Local Housing Allowance you should pass it on to us straight away rather than waiting for the next payment date.  This is because LHA is paid in arrears and so is already late when it reaches you.

You can pay your rent in four ways:

  1. To us in person; by cash or cheque.
  2. Deposit into our bank account.  Take the rent to any Royal Bank of Scotland with the details below.
  3. By bank transfer.  Many banks will do this for free, including online banking.  Please speak to your own bank to arrange with the details below.
  4. By Standing Order.  This is a regular transfer set up at your branch.  It will happen automatically each month and is a simple option to pay the full amount each month.

Our bank details are:
Royal Bank of Scotland – Airdrie Branch
         A/c number: 00707192
         Sort Code: 83-15-11
         Reference: Your name.
Please put your name as a reference on all your payments so we know who has paid.

LHA/Council Tax/Special Uplifts

You can find information on these and any other council issue on the local council website.  For the Airdrie area this is North Lanarkshire Council: www.northlan.gov.uk

Changes/Renewals to your Tenancy

We use a short-assured tenancy agreement.  This runs for an initial period of at least 6 months.  At the end of this period we will usually get another one signed for another 6 months or more.  If we are delayed in this, however, don’t worry because your contract still stands until someone gives notice.  If your contract is due for renewal and you wish to sign a new one quickly, please get in touch.

Problem Neighbours

If you are have noisy or abusive neighbours, please keep us up to date so we can do our bit to help.  You can also call the police for any situation which may be dangerous or the Anti-Social Task Force for noise and ongoing problems.  They have a variety of services to help deal with problem neighbours.  For North Lanarkshire the number is 01698 403222.

If you have any other questions about your tenancy agreement or anything else, please get in touch through our contact page.
